Springboard Opera presents Barefoot Opera! A fun, free afternoon of music and mates at Clubhouse Moorooka. It’s part pub-choir, part open-mic opera, and totally open to anyone. Whether you’ve never seen an opera or you just love belting out tunes, this is your moment.
We’ll bring the pianist and the venue - you bring your voice, your friends, and your best energy. Sing along to some epic opera choruses with the crowd, or sign up for the open mic and perform your favourite aria. No fancy outfits, no pressure, and absolutely no experience needed.
It’s opera, but not as you know it. Think karaoke meets classical, with a laid-back vibe and a welcoming crowd. Grab a drink, grab a mate, and come see what opera sounds like when it’s barefoot.

Step 1: Book your ticket below (when they become available) and come along to Clubhouse Moorooka with some mates.
Step 2: Enjoy the retro atmosphere, grab some food and a cheeky drink or two. You can even have a bowl whilst you’re there
Step 3: Let us take you through an opera chorus to get you warmed up
Step 4: If you’re feeling brave, get up and sing your heart out. We’ll all be cheering you on!
Step 5: Go home on a high with another iconic chorus to end the evening.
