Madeline Gibbs
Madeline Gibbs is a Brisbane/Meanjin-based soprano with a specialisation in chamber and small vocal ensemble music. She completed a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at the University of Queensland in 2014 with Sarah Crane. Since then, Madeline has enjoyed exploring a variety of operatic, chamber and choral repertoire. While primarily performing as a principal singer with Brisbane professional ensemble One Equal Music and as a soprano for medieval music ensemble Fractio Modi, Madeline also sings regularly at All Saints’ Wickham Terrace and as a guest of The Australian Voices or Brisbane Chamber Choir. Notable 2025 performances as a soloist with orchestra or chamber orchestra include alongside Sara Macliver in Brisbane Chamber Choir’s Vivaldi Vespers program in March 2025, as soprano soloist with Ensemble Q and The Australian Voices performing Paul Stanhope's Requiem and as a soloist and ensemble member in Peter Roennfeldt and Friends’ October 2025 program of Bach and Handel. Madeline was an Emerging Artist with the Song Company in 2025, for their Journeying to Finisterre program.
