Johanna Collins is a soprano from Germany and Australia who has recently completed her Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) under the tutelage of Associate Professor Margaret Schindler. 

In 2025 Johanna performed her professional debut as the Second Lay Sister in Suor Angelica at the Dorset Opera Festival. Johanna has performed in several productions at QCGU over the last years, notably as La Fortuna in Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d’Ulysse in Patria.

Johanna’s musical career has been inspired by the renowned musicians she was surrounded by growing up, and is most of all grateful to her parents Susan Collins and Johannes Fritzsch. Between 2019 and 2022, Johanna shared her passion for vocal performance as a teacher at ExitLeft Performance Academy. Outside of music, Johanna is a lover of animals and nature and enjoys spending time with her two cats.
